Ahead of the 2022/23 campaign, Aaron Ramsdale has taken the men's first-team number one shirt at Arsenal. The goalkeeper has been given the iconic number, which has been worn by some of the club's greatest players in the past, including David Seaman, Jens Lehmann, and Petr Cech.

Ramsdale joined Arsenal from Sheffield United in the summer of 2021 and has quickly established himself as the club's number one goalkeeper. He has made 33 appearances for the Gunners in all competitions, keeping 12 clean sheets.
