Introduction

Since their debut in Marvel Comics in 1961, the Fantastic Four have become one of the most iconic superhero teams in history. The team has appeared in countless comic books, animated series, and video games. They have also been the subject of four live-action films.

The Fantastic Four (2005)

The first Fantastic Four film was released in 2005. The film starred Ioan Gruffudd as Mr. Fantastic, Jessica Alba as Invisible Woman, Chris Evans as Captain America, and Michael Chiklis as The Thing. The film was a critical and commercial success, grossing over $330 million worldwide.

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007)

A sequel to the first film, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer was released in 2007. The film starred the same cast as the first film, with the addition of Laurence Fishburne as the Silver Surfer. The film was a box office disappointment, grossing only $290 million worldwide.

Fantastic Four (2015)

A reboot of the Fantastic Four film franchise was released in 2015. The film starred Miles Teller as Mr. Fantastic, Kate Mara as Invisible Woman, Michael B. Jordan as Human Torch, and Jamie Bell as The Thing. The film was a critical and commercial failure, grossing only $168 million worldwide.

A new Fantastic Four film is currently in development. The film is set to be directed by Jon Watts and will star Pedro Pascal as Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Invisible Woman, Paul Walter Hauser as The Thing, and Joseph Quinn as Human Torch. The film is scheduled to be released in 2023.
